How to request deletion
To request deletion of your Ataana Visits account and associated personal data, contact us:
Please include your name and the email or username associated with your account so we can verify your identity and locate your records.
Accounts for Ataana Visits are issued and managed by Ata&Ana; users do not create their own accounts. When you request deletion, we delete the personal data associated with your account that we are not legally required to keep.
Because Ataana Visits is used to create medical and government-billing records, certain information must be retained even after your access ends — for example, to meet HIPAA, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Virginia Medicaid (DMAS), audit, fraud-prevention, security, and other legal obligations. These retention periods are set by law and are generally at least six (6) years, and in some cases longer. We delete information that we are not required to retain.
